For example, we can furnish you with "open" quartzes and oscillators as shown on the left.  These products are used in special situations or for research.  These are not cut open after finishing, but rather are normal items before the last finishing step, the sealing in a "can" or "cap".

In these products, the electrodes are no longer hermitically sealed under a protective gas, as is the case with normal units.  For this reason, at your request, we can also coat the electrodes with gold to protect them from corrosion.
